Sažetak
The research showed that the level of involvement of HEIs from Croatia in international projects was very low and identified the main reasons for this situation. Compared to neighbouring countries like Slovenia, it is evident that much more effort should be given to participation in FP7 projects. Harmonization of legal regulation and legislation between Croatia and EU is progressing as a result of Croatian efforts to become an EU member in the near future.
