Sažetak
In the vaults of Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts’s archive there is a rich collection of Glagolitica – manuscripts written in a specific alphabet created in 9th century and preserved till 19th only in the parts of Croatia. Among them we have singled out the fragment of a medical manuscript containing 10 parchment folios of small dimensions (10x12 cm). Palaeographic and linguistic analyses indicate that it was written in 14th century in the area of Vinodol in south-western Croatia. Our interest was focused exclusively on one small text i.e. recipe dealing with skin disease. The recipe was quite a challenge from philological and medicohistorical point of view thus interdisciplinary collaboration was necessary to achieve proper reading and interpretation of its content.
