Sažetak
The presentation aims at giving an overview of the proposal for the changes and additions to the UNIMARC/Authorities Format to be passed to the Permanent UNIMARC Committee. The proposal is based on the new, 3rd edition of the UNIMARC Manual: Bibliographic Format, and the final version of the Functional Requirements for Authority Data (FRAD): A Conceptual Model, Amended Draft (2008-05-01) prepared by the IFLA UBCIM Working Group on FRANAR. UNIMARC/Bibliographic: the 3rd ed. broadens in block 7-- Responsibility the scope of covering the type of responsibility to include names of persons, corporate bodies and families having forms of responsibility for the resource described referring to creation, ownership, marketing, etc. It also includes trademarks (field 716) under which certain types of materials such as sound recordings are published, and primary, alternative and secondary responsibility for Uniform Conventional Heading for Legal and Religious Texts (fields 740, 741 & 742). For these bibliographic fields a new authority record heading is being proposed. FRAD: proposals include some potential changes to Reference Records, Base Access Point, Language of the Entity, Nationality of Entity, Family Name, Linking Heading Block & Subject System Code, and Relationships between Different Types of Entities.
