Sažetak
The drive for tram with chopper and series wound motor is analysed. Mathematical models that enable calculation of static traction and breaking characteristics are described. The experiments were carried out on the model of the drive with 6 kW series wound motor and the chopper equipped with IGBTs. Simulation results were verified experimentally.
