It is our great pleasure to welcome you all to the 3rd Adriatic meeting on Computational Solutions in the Life Sciences. This is the third meeting in a series of biennial conferences held in Croatia. For those of you who attended either of the previous meetings, we are very pleased that you have been able to join us once again. For those of you who are making your first scientific visit to the Adriatic, we hope that you thoroughly enjoy your stay.
