Sažetak
One of the tasks of management information sub-system in a production system is to provide information on the business structure, and on the changes occurring in the production process in order to supply the management information sub-system with a minimum data range of events and processes necessary for rational decision-making. Inventory and material accounting with recording of on-going production is a narrowly specialized part of management information system which is aimed at ensuring the minimum data range on material transformations unfolding during a production process. Since any production process is normally followed by a great number of business changes, every effort to functionally correlate the production output with its input helps to simplify the system of recording business events and processes. Knowledge of technology and the normative approach to defining production processes in the grain processing industry are basic prerequisites for devising an algorithm of discharging raw material inventories. With this, the system of recording the changes in the production process, i.e. transformation of raw materials into finished products, becomes much simpler and more effective. Algorithmic discharging of raw material inventories based on technologically defined specifications helps us to create a continued systematic approach to quality control and ensures a rational scientific approach to spending elements of the production process.
