Sažetak
The authors have developed their own method of studying one of the modern notions, the globalisation. It is based on the implementation of the theory of systems in general technology, which is at the same time the title of the project. Here, general technology is the umbrella term for natural technology and artificial technology. During the analysis of globalisation using the theory of systems the focus was placed on six basic concepts. These are the goals determined by the powerful, now corporations and multinational companies. The globalisation space is at the moment of event, the known world. The study included the cases of information, material and energy globalisation. It has been found that globalisation is an age-old phenomenon which has experienced change in one feature. The feature of modern globalisation is the essential time compression, so that the events may be transferred via information technology in real time. Based on this knowledge, the historical development of manufacturing of stone tools has been analysed. Three places of manufacturing of stone tools have been determined. These are Gona in Ethiopia (2.6 million years ago), West Turkana in Kenya (2.34 ± 0.4 million years) and Olduvai in Tanzania (1.6 million years). One of the consequences is the manufacturing of a product made of natural polymers, wood and ivory. The oldest example of manufacturing of fitopolymer, wood, is a spear, 400 thousand years old. The example products made from animal natural polymer, ivory ~35, 000 years ago. This means that both artefacts were made in the age of Palaeolithic. Some achievements of plastics and rubber in the globalisation will be presented as well.
