Sažetak
Croatian Terrestrial Referent System, epochs 1995.55 and transverse Mercator’s (Gauss-Krüger’s) projection is recently established as new official projection referent coordinate system of the Republic of Croatia (HTRS96/TM). The new map grids are made for official cartographic map scales. They are followed by the proposal of the new nomenclature system. The new nomenclature system is developed for the official cartographic map scales: 1:250000, 1:100000, 1:50000, 1:25000, 1:10000, 1:5000, 1:2000, 1:1000 and 1:500. Nomenclatures for scales 1:250000, 1:100000 and 1:50000 are made directly from the grid area and do not contain nomenclature of any other sheets. Nomenclatures for map sheets in all other scales are using map sheets in the scale 1:50000 as background, and nomenclatures of bigger scales contain nomenclature of map sheets in the scale 1:50000. Name of the sheet is integral part of the nomenclature for all the sheets that are covering land territory of the Republic of Croatia. Sheet names are not given for map scales 1:2000, 1:1000 and 1:500. Sheet name is given after the name of the main geographical feature (toponym). The nomenclatures are made of alpha-numeric and special characters.
