Sažetak
The paper describes the technology of blasting operations during the excavation of the „Katarina“ tunnel on the city of Rijeka detour road with the special emphasize on the program of measurements of seismic effects of blasting considering the vicinity of water supply facilities and water springs, hydropower tunnels, pressure pipelines and power plants. Certain test blastings have been performed with the purpose of determining safe parameters of production blasting. The biggest permissible charge quantities per blasting delay have been determined, which would not cause any damages to neighboring structures. The measurements of oscillation velocity were performed in the built tunnel pipe, the ground rock and neighboring structures. Measurements in the hydropower tunnel and the pressure pipeline of hydro power plant were performed by the linear movement sensors. Through application of the measures determined by the analysis of measurements ob-tained during test blasting the tunnel was constructed without damages to neighboring structures and the ex-isting tunnel pipe.
