Sažetak
Develiped is a rulebased expert system for EC5 code representation as a proposal for the new Croatian norms for timber structure design. The work started few zears ago, with the development of various ES-s trying to express different code sections. The GURU shell was used in the development of the ES. Now the development of the ES is in the phase to omplement in it the automatic parametric designs of various common (2D and 3D) timber structures entietis, using FEA programs COSMOS/M and M-STRUDL. On the other hand a successfully attempt was done to expand the ES to implement the firesafety DIN standards.
