Sažetak
The extreme uncertainty produced by the transition process in the Southeast Europe
and the accompanying economic turbulence in the region have left most firms without the
managerial skills, capabilities and resources to adapt, grow and prosper. Without the
development of these resources and capabilities, these economies will not fare
well. New combination of factors are constantly reshaping the environment and demanding
constant efforts on the part of companies in order to maintain the equilibrium with
dynamic environment. As the research results indicate the transition process of those
businesses have to jump over fundamental business restructuring and implement
market driven approach.
