Sažetak
This paper investigates what types of questions two elementary school teachers asked during two classroom sessions. A classification model is applied to categorise the teachers’ questions according to their type and function, and special care is paid to the use of both Croatian and English in the questioning process. Finally, an analysis is given to determine whether the two teachers had used their questions to good effect and what improvements could be introduced in their teaching practices.
