Sažetak
The paper presents examples of determining strategies for managing a category under ECR (Efficient Consumer Response) regulations, and one of the most known and promoted ECR products - category management whose goal is efficient category management of a product in retail with mutual cooperation of the producer and retailer. The article gives an example explaining how a strategy for category management is determined within the Off trade sales channel. It explains types of research for needs of category management which is of great importance for determining the optimum assortment for obtaining better value results.
