Sažetak
The situation in the inland navigation of Croatia up to the year 1990 is presented, and the current circumstances, as a consequence of the war imposed to Croatia, are considered. A number of aspects (transport, fleet, construction, and the like) are taken into account. It is pointed out that the inland navigation in Croatia will have prospects of development if it gets onto the European market of transport services through the Adriatic-Danube Basin transport corridor. Two variants of the possible exploitation of this corridor are presented. In the conclusion, the recommendations concerning the development strategy of inland navigation in Croatia are made.
