Sažetak
Intensive developmcnt of nautical tourism on Cioatian Adriatic coast and marinas functional requirements, caused recently construction on locations and with materials out of everyday standards. On rubble-mound breakwater in Opatija Marina in Ičići, a nonstandard rock core containing excessive quantity of dusty fraction was used, compacted by means of explosive. T he example of Umag Marina will show the foundation of semi-submrrgrd screan with marina sediment. For aforrmentioned examples applied methods of problem solving and results of some construction brhaviour observiour, will be presented.
