Sažetak
Recent changes in the global economy have lead to decline of many world companies. However, there are still many successful companies that have managed to overcome not just this world crisis, but many before, and remained successful in the market for a very long time. These long living companies have demonstrated that it is possible to remain an active player in the market through a long period of time, successfully defending their main business principles and values. The challenge for today professionals and practitioners is to recognize the pillars of enduring organizational success and the sources of longevity and sustainable competitive advantage. This article analyses researches done in that direction as well as it analyses a similar research done among long living Croatian companies.
