Sažetak
Field experiment with increasing rates of carbocalk (39% CaO: t ha-1 = 0, 15, 30, 45, 60 and 90) was started in autumn of 2000 in Pozega-Slavonian County. The field trial was conducted in four replicates (basic plot 64.3m2). Crop rotation for the 2001-2009 period was as follows: maize–maize–sunflower–barley– tobacco–maize–wheat–tobacco–wheat. Considerable residual effects of liming on wheat yields (cultivar Srpanjka) in 2009 were found because unlimed plots yielded 5.04 t ha-1 while liming effects were up to 42 % (range from 6.85 to 7.14 t ha-1). Yield increasing was mainly result of ear weight increases because ears number (mean 767 square m-1) were independent on the treatments.
