Sažetak
The investigation of using of tool carbide and ceramic inserts by semifinishing turning of Waspaloy were carried out. Previously the cutting process of superalloys was analized and after that by means of in plant experiments suitable cutting data were determined. Both kinds of the cutting tools satisfy the technological requirements imposed on the workpiece. By determining and comparison of machining costs the economical variant were choosed which gave lesser machining costs.
