Sažetak
It is possible to machine Inconel 718 with the tool made from specially developed inserts of carbide, cubic bornitride, and cutting ceramic reinforced by SiC whiscers. In this paper, experiments were carried on rough and semirough turnings of Inconel 718 by carbide inserts, and optimal cutting data were determined based on minimal machining costs i.e. on maximal productivity.
