Sažetak
Unlike other building enterprises, the constructiion of underground structures presents an investment risk for all the participants in such projects. The highest risk for ensues when the tunnel construction in temporarily stable rocks, i.e. in such geological formations where rock around the excavated surface is self-supporting for a certain period of time. The tunnel support is the principal investment risk in tunnel construction. Proper planning and programmming of the tunnel support system in temporarily stable rocks is essential in the determination of the final costs and construction time of a tunnel.
