Sažetak
The investigation is based on the representation of the influence of body weight on changing morphology and body posture. Basic anthropometric measurements were taken: body height, body weight, chest circumference, waist girth and hip girth of the population employed in the clothing industry. Measurements are expressed in centimeters (cm) except body weight which is expressed in kilograms (kg). Besides body measurements, age and county affiliation were registered in the Republic of Croatia. The sequence and investigation were performed in the city of Zagreb and in Medimurje County. 312 employees of the clothing industry took part in the investigation. The results were collected in writing, and measurements were taken in form of a voluntary questionnaire. The investigation performed lead to the conclusion that by increasing the body weight and age and conditions at the workplace changes in morphology occur which influences body posture.
