Sažetak
The role of information technology in achieving effective integration of cost and time in the planning and control processes is critical.
The paper presents some of the results of current research which aims to rationalize cost and time planing and control of Building Projects.
The linking of time with cost are used to facilitate the processing of relevant information in order to meet these aims.
Within this context a link between existing software packages for estimating and planning has been achieved. Resource cost data for activities can be transferred from an estimating package to a planning package.
This approach is based for establishing an Information System which can be used by the contractor, or his client / representative for monitoring and control of a building project.
