Sažetak
It is well known that, for almost half a century, the media elite was almoust exclusively political in the east European countries (here we also include the Balkans where the communist model reigned till 1990). The task of the communist journalists was to serve the crated and approved information with chocolate icing, so that it could be more easily acceptable by the people, the working class. In such political systems the word informing was replaced by forming, because the journalists and the rst of the media elite had to form beliefs and attitudes for a positive relationship towards communism, patriotism and internationalism.
