Sažetak
Croatia due to its geographical characteristics and the particular way of life in rural areas has very favourable conditions for tourism development in rural areas. Agrotourism as part of rural tourism is a unique form of tourist offer, because the service, i.e., the product creates mostly one family. In that way the way of life, habits and characteristics of family become part of agrotourism product. Depopulation of rural areas in Croatia and Europe is significant due to several reasons. Important reasons are numerous problems associated with unemployment and the possibility of generating a satisfactory level of income only from agricultural production. Agrotourism as a specific form of organization of tourist activities within the family farm is a possible way of revitalization of rural area. The paper analyzes the case study of agrotourism "Ograde." Specific features of this agrotourism household are additional activity of the owners who are involved in a series of workshops and other forms of education and represent a good example to all people interested in this type of business.
