Sažetak
Three groups of corn hybrids (eight in each group with the same inbred line as a parent: Os84-28, Os487-89 and Os86-39, resp.) and eight inbred lines were grown in field trial (four replications ; exp. plot 7.0m2) on acid soil (pH in KCl=3.98 ; soluble aluminum = 9.34 mg Al/100g). Corn was sown in term of May 12, (plant density 59526/ha) and it was harvested in term of October 12, 1994. Field trial is unfertilized. In general, the hybrids of Os84- 28 line were more tolerant to soil stress, compared to hybrids of Os487-89 and Os86-39 lines (mean grain yields: 2655, 2298 and 2183 kg/ha, resp.). These properties are in close connection with degree of inbred lines tolerance to low pH/high Al contents (2595, 2090 and 738 kg/ha, for the inbred lines Os84- 28, Os487-89 and Os86-39, resp.). Grain yields of hybrids were in range from 1423 to 3405 kg/ha.
