Sažetak
This paper examines the dependence of the Croatian insular tourism on the road and maritime liner passenger traffic based on the example of one of the national perls- island of Vis. After considering the theoretical determinants of the impact of traffic on tourism, we analyse the state of the road and maritime transport infrastructure on the island of Vis illustrating our analysis with a survey of tourists' viewpoints on the road and maritime infrastructure they were using while arriving and sojourning on the island of Vis. At the end of the paper, concluding remarks and recommendations are provided.
