Trojstva 3, 31000 Osijek Pravilno skladiatenje sjemena hibrida kukuruza vrlo je va~no za o uvanje propisane kvalitete sjemenskog materijala. Neadekvatni uvjeti skladiatenja kao ato su promjene temperature i vlage zraka u skladiatu mogu prouzro iti pad ~ivotne sposobnosti sjemena. Cilj ovih istra~ivanja je bio utvrditi promjenu kvalitete sjemena kukuruza tijekom tri godine skladiatenja na dva genetski razli ita hibrida OSSK-596 i OSSK-602. Pokus je postavljen u dva tipa skladiata (betonsko-noviji tip i zidano-stariji tip skladiata) na Poljoprivrednom institutu Osijek. U istra~ivanjima na oba hibrida testirano je netretitano sjeme te sjeme tretirano u tri varijante: 1.fungicid Vitavax 200 FF; 2.fungicid Maxim 035 XL; i 3.fungicid Vitavax 200 FF + insekticid Gaucho 600 FS. Uo en je zna ajan pad kvalitete sjemena kukuruza tijekom tri godine skladiatenja u oba tipa skladiata. Najvei gubitak kvalitete sjemena tijekom trogodianjeg skladiatenja zabilje~en je s varijantama sjemena oba hibrida tretiranih suspenzijom fungicida i insekticida (Vitavax 200 FF + Gaucho 600 FS). Na temelju dobivenih rezultata kvalitete sjemena kukuruza ispitivanih tretmana, sjeme tretirano suspenzijom fungicida i insekticida nije pogodno za skladiatenje du~e od 12 mjeseci, te bi se takovo sjeme trebalo zasijati u godini tretiranja. Klju ne rije i: sjemenski kukuruz, hibridi, tip skladiata, uvjeti skladiatenja, du~ina skladiatenja, kvaliteta sjemena. INFLUENCE OF DIFFERENT WAREHOUSE TYPES ON THE QUALITY OF MAIZE SEED I. Trojstva 3, 31000 Osijek Adequate storage of maize hybrid seed is very important for preserving required quality of seed material. Inadequate storage conditions in warehouse like changes in temperature and relative humidity can induce depletion in seed viability. The objectives of these investigations were to determine changes in quality of maize seed over the three years storage, and in two genetically different hybrids, OSSK-596 and OSSK-602. The experiment was set up in two warehouse-types (concrete-made newer type, and brick-made older type) at the Agricultural Institute Osijek. Both hybrids were tested to untreated seed, and seed treated in three variants: 1.fungicide Vitavax 200 FF; 2.fungicide Maxim 035 XL; and 3.fungicide Vitavax 200 FF + insecticide Gaucho 600 FS. Significant loss in quality of maize seed was observed during three-year-storage in both types of warehouse. The highest quality loss was determined with the seed varieties of both hybrids treated by the suspension of fungicide and insecticide (Vitavax 200 FF + Gaucho 600 FS). On the basis of the obtained results, the seed treated by the suspension of fungicide and insecticide was found to be inadequate for storage longer than 12 months. Such seed should be sieved in the year of treatment.
