Sažetak
The starting point for this paper is my ongoing quest into reflective learning. It is beyond the scope of this paper, however, to consider in detail all methodological problems connected with the reflective learning classrooms. What can be offered is a brief insight into the concept of reflection, into the effect of reflection on the self – reflexivity and a description of how students can be empowered by carrying out small-scale projects. Empowering students through reflective learning becomes crucial to education because reflective learning gives students power and an opportunity to monitor their learning, progress and achievement. It leads to a transformation that sees knowledge as a practice of reflection, dialogue and action.
