Sažetak
Mutual relationship between sedimentological and surface chemical characteristics of the northern and central Adriatic sediments are investigated. Granulometric and mineral composition are interelated - sediments having more clay minerals are always fine grained, while coarser sediments contain more quartz and carbonates. The SSA and organic matter content are also dependent on the grain size - higher values are mostly found in fine-grained sediments.
