Sažetak
The research has been conducted on trial fields of Agricultural institute in Osijek during growing season 2009. The research has been set up as split-split plot method in three repetitions. Irrigation is main factor: A1 control variant without irrigation, A2- 65%-100%, and A3- 80%-100% of field water capacity. Fertilization has been administered as follows: B1- control variant without fertilization, B2- 100 kg N ha-1, and B3- 200 kg N ha-1. Two corn hybrids (OSSK 596 i OSSK 617) with similar vegetation length (FAO 500 and FAO 600) have been tested. Analysis of variance showed statistically very significant effect of hybrid on specific leaf area, specific leaf weight and leaf water content.
