Sažetak
The paper gives analysis of the conventional and computer-controlled method of anthropometric body measurement for the needs of the clothing industry. The method of determining anthropometric landmarks over the body as a measurement prerequisite using the conventional method is described. Measuring instruments and the method of determining body measurements are mentioned. Types of the existing 3D systems designed for body scanning and contactless computer-controlled measurement are further described. The operation methodology of 3D laser body scanners and the method of computer-controlled determination of body measurements are explained in detail. The concluding section of the paper compares advantages and disadvantages of both methods.
