Sažetak
We present measurements of equivalent widths of the UV photospheric lines: C III 1247 Å, N III 1748 Å, N III 1752 Å, N IV 1718 Å, and He II 1640 Å in high-resolution IUE spectra of 30 galactic OB supergiants. Equivalent widths measured from the observed spectra have been compared with those from the NLTE synthetic spectra. Differential analysis was applied to estimate the limits of abundances of the elements in question. In search for CN-processed material in stellar atmospheres, the ratios of equivalent widths of nitrogen to carbon, their relative abundances and helium enrichment are discussed. For 10 supergiants from our sample we find ratios of the nitrogen to carbon equivalent widths higher than those measured from the synthetic spectra which, accompanied by helium enhancement, are indicators of contamination by the CN-processed material.
