Sažetak
This book contains papers presented during the 2nd Chinese-Croatian Joint Colloquium on Construction of Arch Bridges in Fuzhou, China, 05-09 October 2009. The Colloquium was organized by College of Civil Engineering, Fuzhou University and Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Zagreb, based on bilateral project under the title "Exploring the limits of reinforced concrete arch bridges", supporteded by both Chinese and Croatian ministry of Science. The 2nd Colloquium was focused on the construction of arch bridges both in China and Croatia, including the following topics: manufacture of steel arches, erection methods of arch bridges, quality control, monitoring of construction, influence of construction methods on design. The proceeding contain the construction techniques of the arch bridges at present, with Chinese contributions on the latest Chinese achievements (including concrete, CFST and steel arch bridges) and Croatian contributions on mainly Croatian and some European arch bridges.
