Sažetak
Recently, an entire line of research rannging from the empirical to the theoretical has been devoted to the issue of gender impact on reality perception and stimulated reactions. In addition to a number of studies concerning the predominant differences in the field of spatial perception, special attention has been focused on the relation of gender an social commiments, and the manner in which the decision-making process unfolds. An interesting issue in this respect is the extent to which gender effects the features of management, particularly in the process of making business decisions. In Croatia, as a transitional country faced with numeerous challenges at the verge of the 21st century, it would be of interest to make an empirical study as to whether distinctions do exist in the crucial elements of the business decision-making process. To this respect, dta obtained through surveying management in tourit agencies and hotel enterprises in Croatia has been analyzed in an attempt to determine the influence of possible gender differences on decisoin-making. Also a significant relation getween management level and gender was estabilished, to the disadvantage of women.
