Sažetak
The primary tasks of occupational medicine are the preservation of human health and human capacity for a full performance. The posture at work as well as working environments are important factors from both mechanical and medical points of view. In forming biomechanical model the segment mass moments of the subjects and their centres were determined by means of Donskij's and Zatsciorskij's method based on Rudan's anthropological data, supported by a harmonic method of distribution developed by Muftio. The mass moments determination of human segments are divided into two categories: internal and external mass moments. From the biomechanical point of view found in recent literature the strains at work captured in different characteristic working positions are not thoroughly and adequately recognized
