A detailed theoretical analysis of an absorption refrigeration system is presented. The coefficients of performance COPR for different operating temperatures and working mixtures lithium bromide-water and water-ammonia are calculated and illustrated in diagrams. The effect of the heat exchanger on the coefficient of performance of an absorption system is shown
