Main focus is on the key quality and time attributes in the development of the new product. The software quality context is analysed from the project and management perspective. It was analyzed resource perspective through the development life cycles. It was analyzed a case study for implementation SDL in product development life cycles. It was analyzed general case for implementation new development methods in the product life cycle. It was emphasized importance of software engineering in modern software development companies.
