Sažetak
In this work, we were studied possibility of using natural corrosion inhibiting substances in the tinplate cans with tomato puree. The effects of inhibitions or accelerations of corrosion process we were checked with essential onion oil. This natural spices we were sprayed on heavily coated surfaces (11.2 g/m2) of differentially tin coating tinplate sheets plate (D11.2/2.8). The influence of essential onion oil on main components of tinplate sheets plates (tin, iron and chromium), we were analysed using electrochemical methods and atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS/ZE/GF). The results by analytical methods, confirm that, the content of tin and chromium are the same on the tinplate plates, before and after application of onion oil. For iron, the results shown that the phenomena of corrosion is accelerated by essential onion oil. Because, the mechanism of interactions of iron and onion oil is not known, our future investigations will be considered on studying of these processing between them.
