Sažetak
The hyperostosis is recorded for the first time in a wild Dentex dentex from the Adriatic Sea. The deformed specimen presents typical swollen bones on its caudal vertebrae. Moreover, this is the first record of such deformities of common dentex in the whole area of its distribution.
