Sažetak
Intensive damage of worm shaft was observed on the new high capacity worm press for final pressing. The condition was monitored and the damaged parts analyzed. It was found that from tribological sides is necessary to change the adequate approach for construction solutions of conjunctive surfaces of worm segments. In this way we could contribute not only to longer shelf-life of parts but also increase the working efficiency of the pressing plant.
