Sažetak
The paper is a discussion of the relationship between media and technology, and political and cultural identity. One version of this relationship is exemplified on recent developments in the South East European region. The focus is on technological convergence of the region which otherwise is not convergent in terms of social and cultural developments with the contexts in which new technologies originate.
