Sažetak
The developing of tourism of the Adriatic coast and islands is based on the concept of bearing the huge complexes hotel systems. The developing would be oriented towards smaller hotels of higher category as well as larger annual period of usage. The result of such orientation is that hotels apart to thermal and electrical energy supply, need cooling energy too. Conventional solution with boilers, cooling power station and Diesel-electric generator can be substituted by the compaund hotel energy source with heath pump system - an autonomous total enery system. This kind of solution enables heating, cooling and self electric energy production. This type of energy source is of special interest to ill supplied and isolated islands.
An example with 500 kW generator has been analysed for a higher category hotels usage. The advantages of such system have been pointed out. The comparison with the conventional system has been analysed for the conditions on the Adriatic coast and islands.
