Sažetak
Computer simulation and analysis of combustion in boiler was carried out with the aim of preventing heat overloading and flame contact with the chamber walls as well as excessive NOx formation.The commercial software for modeling turbulent flow and combustion with mixture fraction formulation and PDF model of chemistry turbulence interaction, based on finite volume method, was used in the analysis. The calculated results correspond very well with experimentally measured ones. This kind of simulation can be used in the optimization of combustion in boilers for low NOx formation.
