Sažetak
In this paper the investigation of the EMF under the overhead transmission lines with different pole structure is perfomed. The computations are directed towards improving the analytical models for predicting electromagnetic fields and finding lines with reduced EMF emission, therefore with a reduced influence on human helth. A field theory approach is used to solve Maxwell's equations in order to compute the transient EMF of the transmission lines. The comparison of the 110, 220 and 400 kv lines with different pole structure that can be found in the Croatian transmission network is performed. The electric and magnetic fields are obtained using the HIFREQ module from the CDEGS software package.
