Sažetak
We analysed 105 patients where the peforation was treated by suture within a period of 4 and more years and compared the results with a group 0f 375 patients where the perforation was treated by gastric resection by Billroth I. method based on our experience in chosing the method of treating an ulceros disease. The results were as follows: after the suture in 43, 6 percent of cases we found an ulcer , to a resurgery consented 12, 5% patients: of periodical or permanent digestive disturbances complained 70% of patients, and all of them took digestical drugs. In the alternative group of patients where a gastrical resection was performed the recidiv ulcer appeared in only 1, 25% of patient, and 2, 7% sotreated complained about postsurgical digestive disturbances. In 89, 2% cases patients were feeling well. Based on results, we think that suture as a wrong and unpropriate method should be rejected with the exception of bacterial peritonitis or when the perforation occurs with within 12 or more hours.
