Sažetak
22 fish species were caught in a right lateral channel of the Dubrava Dam on the Drava River as a result of an eleven-year research of fish. Water temperature in this lateral channel is low (13 - 15°C), the flow is quite fast and the amount of oxygen is 4.32-4.42 mgO2/l (41.2 - 44.5 % saturated). In the first year after the Dubrava Dam was built on location 4D fish fauna was similar to that of common European slow-flowing rivers. In the next year fish fauna of slow-flowing rivers turned into fish fauna similar to upper reaches of the river. Common fish species on this location are: the burbot (20.11 %), schneider (17.72%), bullhead (15.61%), trout (10.85%) and chub (7.67%). Shannon-Wiener index of species diversity is 3.44 of the possible maximum 4.46.
