Sažetak
The authors identified the gap in the literature of strategic management about the two distinctive concepts and their relation to business performance. Strategic thinking is a self-understood concept that has been actually under-researched in literature. It is commonly agreed that it is the essence of each business model rather vague about the meaning and the content. Schools of strategic management are concepts that form distinctive paradigms about the process of strategic management usually used to summarize the different perspectives in strategic management literature. These two concepts are theoretical in their nature and this paper is aiming to put them in the relation with the business performance in order to test their practical value and implications for managers.
