Sažetak
Competition on the global market demands that companies adapt to a dynamic and complex environment. One of the main goals of that firm is effective management, and business process reengineering (BPR) is conducted in order to achieve it. Information technology is the key factor for development and implementation of BPR, which also in turn influences development and improvement of the firm’s information system that should provide data needed for management of business processes. This paper points out the significance of a data warehouse for certain activities of reengineering, the influence of data warehouse on establishing a BPR project and its influence on reengineering of the decision making process.
