Sažetak
The steering system for synchronous turning of all four car wheels can, with optimal selection of steering angle, improve car manoeuvrebility at low speed and dynamic stability at high speed. Turning the rear wheels in the opposite direction to the front wheels reduces the car turning radius and improves car manoeuvrability at low speed. Turning the rear wheels in the same direction as the front wheels, partially or completely compensates an unfavourable influence of the side slip caused by tyre's distorsion and in this way prevents the oversteer which leads to non-stability. This research work is a contribution in researching the influence of turning the rear car wheels on the manoeuvrability and dynamic stability.
