Sažetak
In the new rapidly changing economy a sustained focus on excellence must be kept in mind constantly, because this is a world in which competition is so keen that we can be easily overtaken in the race. Tourism is the essential development factor of the tourist destination Kvarner and achieving and sustaining excellence in it is a major challenge for it. The Master plan for the development of tourism at Primorska-goranska County will have a vital role in that way. The tourism industry involves a wide range of players from both the public and private sectors and they can significantly contribute to enhance the excellence of the Primorsko-goranska County.
